From March 1987 to April 1993, we treated 64(97 cycles)infertile patients.
Theses patients have history8 of failed ovulation induction by clomiphene citrate, amenorrhea and unexplained infertility. We treated these cases with clomiphene citrate, Human Menopausal Gonadotropin and human Chorionic Gonadotropin.
The results are that ovulation rate is 76.3%, pregnancy rate is 35.1%, abortion rate is 7.7%, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome rate is 10.3%, not one case of multiple pregnancies and congenital malformation.
Of these 26 pregnancies, 23 cases were full term delivered, 2 cases were aborted and 1 premature(pregnancy 26 weeks) delivered.
